Jodi Purdy is a freelance casting director who has been working with Casting Companies, Directors and Producers from Hollywood, New York and New England recruiting and booking talent since the early 1980's.
As "The Casting Go to Girl" of the 80's & 90's, Jodi was there to seek out the talent needed for Television shows like "Spenser for Hire" and "Against the Law" and TV Commercials like "McDonald's and McCain's French Fries" and Feature Films like "Mystic Pizza" and "A Civil Action". When things started heating up with Feature Films shooting in New England in the 21st Century, the demand for Jodi's skills grew with her assisting on casting principal and extra roles on such films as "Mystic River", "The Departed", and "Gone Baby Gone". She cast all the extras and some day player roles in such feature films as "The Game Plan", "The Pink Panther 2", "Maiden Heist", "What Doesn't Kill You", "Bride Wars" and the soon to be released "In Your Eyes". Her ability to wrangle thousands of extras at a time has landed her on many sets as a Production Assistant/Extras Wrangler/Extras Coordinator on such feature films as "Here Comes the Boom" and "That's My Boy".
